So anyway, I'm working on this cartoon called Ricardo's Quest HD which is a remake to an awesome pile of jew fucking shit that I made in 2009. The introduction sequence was all I needed to do for my assignment criteria, but I will actually finish the whole thing before I submit it here. For the mean time, here is what is done. Featuring the voice talents of Mick Lauer and Chantelle Sundeen (and me to a lesser extent).

After this, I will be working on Chao in Space: CvMvS Episode 3, an unnamed project of mystery and Halloween Stew which I am animating along with Joey and Jomillex. Hopefully it'll be out before Halloween this year. Also, I'm on Facebook too if anyone wants to like me or anything :<.

The animation looks pretty good. The gags all seem like standard fare for a parody to me though. Nothing really made me laugh, but then again, I am somewhat of a stick in the mud. Maybe if Ricardo had a different stereotype character then the "indifferent hero," that could have spiced things up a bit.

All I can think of when I see Ricardo is Conker from Conker's Bad Fur Day and Conker: Live and Reloaded.

It works really well, some of the characters look very similar to other popular characters, specifically Conker which has been picked up on by someone else, however it works alright as it seems to be a Legend of Zelda style story anyway... For inspiration you should check out the web series "Legend of Neil", they basically put Neil into the role of Link. Got some very nice drawings however, keep up the good work.

Well I think Ricardo has had alot of work put into it, lots of colors and jokes, I like it.

Also Pebbles look SO freaking good in this artstyle, to see it animated will.....just be....the bees knees :>

I have an idea for the Smart Phone. Maybe you could have it so that gadgets or something pop out of it (or maybe just useless apps). And since it's sentient, it would use them whether Ricardo tells it too or not. Except that it always uses the wrong ones at the worst times. Just a suggestion.

I already had that idea actually with the apps. One preliminary idea is the smartphone opens a "gun" app and uses it to force Ricardo into the evil lair after he announces he's having second thoughts about going in. I will definatly make use of the app feature though :>.

Most of it is brand new. There are a couple little things that are from the original that have been remade, but the story and characters are all new.
