Thanks again for those that auditioned for me. It was a tough choice, but I finally decided on Aimee Smith as the voice actress for Gigi!

Here is a video showcasing Gigi's voice.

Here are the audition lines:

"My dad has little plants like that growing in our attic!"

"Wow, all of a sudden it's night time. Creepy!"

"*high pitch girly scream*"

"Ohhh I'm sorry! I thought you were, like... evil or something."

"So all I do is collect these buttons and you'll help me out?"

"Liberating the world from a toy apocalypse seems a little... ambitious for an eight year old to be doing all by her self."

Well, there are only a handful of female voice actors on Newgrounds, so I suggest actively looking for them as well.

Boy, you found someone fast! I couldn't help but notice PrototypeC's comment about Rina-chan. I feel the need to stand up for her because she came through for me when a lot of other voice actresses turned me down. Maybe we'd see less of Rina-chan if the other good voice actresses weren't so picky about what they voice for.

Yeah, it's actually a toss-up between three VAs that each bring something different to the character, I think I've made my choice though but I will get a second and third opinion at college tomorrow. The two that don't get picked needn't worry because I have two seperate rolls they can fill in my other cartoon if they so choose :>.

I actually didn't approach Rina-chan strictly because everyone else uses her. I wanted to see who else NG had to offer and I was pleasently surprised, there is a lot of talent on this site that has yet to be discovered :>.

Am really excited to get started!

In regards to Rina-Chan, she's a really talented and reliable voice actress.
I've had the pleasure of voicing alongside her in a couple of pony-related projects,
and if her only fault is that she voices in too many projects and we all hear her too much,
then I really don't believe that to be too awful a fault anyway! She does get a lot of flak,
and I think it's really admirable of her to still continue voicing so many characters online.
Anywho, that's all I had to say about that! :) Thanks again!!

To me, Rina-chan's only fault has nothing to do with her voice, but her writing. I know some people get a kick out of 4chan and 9gag jokes but nothing makes me cringe more, especially when they are just thrown in for no reason. If she were to concentrate on her writing more and come up with her own original jokes then she would be much better than she is. :> But I will agree that interms of voice acting, she is as reliable as they come as Teejay mentioned below.

And thank you for the audition! :> Work is kicking my arse right now but I should have time this week to run through the script and send it to you!
