Another Sprita Flash...

Another generic sprite fight. This would have been better if you used more of that drawn art and less of the sprites. Nice tweens, but that's about it.

I remember seeing this for the Pikmin Collab a while back. Glad to see it finally appeared on NG. The animation and, voice acting and art were very good, but the dialogue was pretty cliché. Very well done though, if you team up with a good comedic writer you could make some lethal stuff! :>

I have to say you've done very well with this. Those interactive battles are a very interesting concept, and thankfully they work near perfectly. Normally I hate sprite flashes nowadays but this one is something... dare I say, different?

Voice acting was for the most part exceptionally good, although a couple of your actors sounded like they were talking a little quietly (Professor Fennel for example). Everyone else was fine, especially Seymour who did a stellar job as Gallade. The use of 3D was a nice touch, and the file size didn't suffer terribly much for it luckily.

If you continue to implement interactive battles (and you should as there is good potential here), all I would suggest is you clean up those attack effects and make them a little prettier. I look forward to the next installment. :>

Thanks, it's too bad SonicSong182 never replied. I plan on continuing the interactive battles. I have to draw most attacks myself because the sprites are sometimes even uglier. Plus I don't know exactly what every attack is supposed to look like so I just make it up. Hopefully their quality will improve as my artistic skills do.

Make something that isn't a sprite character beating up something with no other redeeming qualities. Also, the Spritas are shit.

No voices?

Disappointing is what that is. The artwork looked really good, even better than the original series. The dialogue is pretty uninspired though, and the ugly text comes off as a clear after thought. And yeah, using those same aura graphics from SMBZ instead of making unique ones was a let down, since all the other art was well done.

If you continue this, making your own auras and getting some good voice actors is a MUST!

This was just boring. The animation was terrible the whole way through, the comedy non-existent and the voice acting atrocious. Sounds like you guys were whispering so you wouldn't wake up your parents. I hate giving 0's so I'll give you a 1, but this just felt so badly rushed and unfinished. Sorry about that.
