Really loved the animation, and the ending was beautiful!

A little overrated?

I had high expectations for this having won the three highest awards, but this is one of the most overrated things I have ever seen. I mean its not terrible, but definatly nothing special. The animation is pretty bland, all the characters sound the same and the jokes (apart from maybe two) were just unfunny. The motion tweens were nice though...

All in all, the artwork was good and the dialogue was to the point. The quality of the sound was pretty low, whether it was your mic or your audio settings in Flash I don't know, but that's all I can suggest you work on.

Also, yes I have tried listening to Justin Bieber. I thought "Baby" was a song about a young girl singing about her lesbian lover. M'kay.

Nothing I haven't seen a million times before. Except the "NEXT BUTTON" doesn't work after dialogue. I had to right click for the movie to continue and it took me to random fight scenes.

SMBZ is fucking terrible and Alvin-Earthworm is an egotistical jerk! You must acknowledge that yes, every sprite animation from this point on will be compared to the almighty ball of shit that is SMBZ. Chao in Space 2 didn't even have a proper fight scene or ANY DBZ references, yet it was compared to it (even by you ;o). Anyway, let's begin.

This is a SEVERE improvement over the last episodes. I don't care much for the fight scenes in sprite flashes anymore, but I will admit during the fight scene I laughed a little when you referenced Luigi's "taunt attack" from Brawl. I also like how the dialogue is clearly not too serious. The Toad characters offer a bit of sillyness to the story that you really expect from the Mario games, it gives it more of an actual MARIO charm to it, none of this over the top anime shit you see in other sprite flashes *cough*.

Anyway it's a good effort. Keep the series going and don't lose what you currently have going for it.

PS. In the scene where Experiment Zero was grinding the piranha vine then landed in the forest, I was almost certain you were gonna throw a Chao in Space reference in there. On the subject, here's to hoping I get Episode 3 out before you get Episode 4 out D:.

Not bad at all.

All in all, the animation was superb, although I found quite a few of the skits to just not be that funny. The Diddy Kong Racing one with Conker though I will admit made me laugh, and the Sonic one did too. You guys should overall be happy with this.

Funny you compare this to Brawl Taunts, because just like that flash, I found this to be really boring. Most of the jokes were just... bad. I'm not a Street Fighter devotee but still the humour just severely lacked. The voices were kind of bland too. Sorry :<

I love how this short on it's own has done better than the entire Kirby Collab. It was clever and funny, good stuff!
