[Sonic Shorts: Volume 7]

Not bad.

I can see where the appeal is here. Most of the "young" Sonic fans will eat this stuff up and mark these so called "bad" reviews as abusive. But do try and actually READ these first please. :>

Artwork was very reminicent of Sonic X, which I personally am not a fan of. I hated that show soo SOOO much, and the characters they introduced in the show such as Chris. But that's not a deal breaker. Apart from the first joke that did drone on for a while, things did improve a bit. Voice acting had varying degrees of success (I say that alot >__>), Robotnik for example didn't sound right to me :<. If you guys want voice actors for Sonic characters, I highly recommend you check out SonicSong182 on YouTube. I mean seriously, you won't be disappointed.

Overall these parts weren't bad, but there are a few things holding them back from greatness. Better voice acting would be nice, maybe another art style that doesn't remind me of the God awful anime (up to you really)? And shorter jokes too, that first one was too long. Other than that, I deem this passable :>.

Uhmmm...

I was expecting witty jokes relating to the Earthbound/Mother series, but instead got just another "let's have a game character beat the shit out of everything on screen". The plot is stupid too; "Ness goes crazy, the end!". What a shame. Study the character and actually make a Flash that serves him correctly.

Dude what the fuck you completely missed the point of this movie.
I know a lot about the Earthbound series, this wasn't made as a serious tribute or something. There is no story, its a collab where people could have fun using Ness's powers, real or fictitious, to mercilessly destroy everything in his path. It exists purely for expressiveness, humor, and mildly shallow entertainment.

The way you rated this would be like giving Jurassic Park a bad score because there's no way dinosaurs could exist today, why didn't they do their research oh man the movie sucked because dinosaurs aren't real today.

Holy cow really?

There is a difference between paying tribute too and blatantly copying someone elses work, and this stretches far into the latter. I know you guys love Jeremy Simms' work on Castle Calamity, but can you please stop ripping off his work with this halfarsery?

The content itself reaked of mediocrity. I mean as a clear fan of game parodies, you should know that using FALCOOON PUNCH in your Flash only shows how desperate for original jokes you are. I also noticed some parts from the Mario Castle Collab, possibly to add weight to an otherwise terrible Flash. And no, I'm NOT trolling you, this is my honest opinion. Enjoy the front page and Daily 2nd.

Also, Comedy - Original? No no, this is a parody.

As an ex-sprite animator myself though, I can safely tell you sprite animation is WAY easier than drawing it all normally. If you were really stuck by limited sprites, you'd make some custom ones. But yeah as I said this wasn't bad (I've seen way worse) but it's nothing truely noteworthy, tons of these sorts of Flases are on the internet already.

Wow, that was awesome.

I think you have a right to be pissed about the Daily 1st thing, this was very well made. It'd be different if it were a crappy entry, but I think this one deserves some exposure.

Animation was good and it fit well with the music. Never saw How to Tame Your Dragon but I might check it out now. Well done. :>
