Can someone PLEASE tell me...

Where you guys are getting the exact same graphics, effects, music and everything that Alvin-Earthworm uses in SMBZ? It's almost as if you took the .fla file of Episode 6, beat the living hell out of it and made a massive motion tween. I'm not a fan of the series terribly much anymore, and movies like this are the reason why.

In addition to that, I'm giving you a 0/10 because:

That sprite of Mario with his shirt blown off looked ridiculous considering his overalls were still perfectly intact.
I am SICK of that damn fight scene song. It's been done to death.
The whole plot was cliche as all hell as well as very predictable.
The graphics were bad.
So at the end... King Yoshi's reward for Mario and Sonic was to watch the sunset with him? Wow, what a kick in the balls ._o.
There is no preloader, so this thing started and stopped a lot while I was watching it.
8.2MB for this is WAY too big.
The whole thing just seemed rushed.

Sorry to sound harsh, but everyday it seems more and more of these movies appear and they are always the same thing. Same sound effects, same explosions, same God damn everything. Do something more original if you want to stand out from this garbage.

Sorry to disappoint you. And yes I know it was a total copy of ep 6 of smbz, but this is like my third flash ever and to get used to flash I wanted to get the basics down, so I copied the plot of smbz ep 6.

These are like the old sprite flashes I used to love when I first discovered NG. Short little gags that bring a smile too your face. I liked it, so good work.

I just watched the series, loved it.

Not perfect I will admit, but for what it is it's pretty fucking hilarious. Voice acting is done well, Ron's randomly swearing was a nice touch too.

I gotta admit...

I was thinking "Oh great, another SMBZ knock off", but this was wasn't that bad/ The fight scenes were for the most part well put together and the graphics and sprite work was done well too. Although it would have been better if there was a story, rather than it be a random brawl fest.

[Sprite-A-Rant]

It's true.

I hate memes.

I hate bad voice acting.

I hate poorly ripped sprites.

I hate random yelling and exploding.

And unfortunately, Sprite A Day is bursting with all those qualities. I recently submitted a short to Sprite A Day 35 which I was rather happy with, but I was honestly disappointed with what the others put forth. It's basically like you said, it's like they just copied a low quality sprite sheet onto Flash and just made up everything on the spot. It doesn't help that the creators of Sprite A Day can't take constructive criticism (MeatwadSprite).

But what you said needed to be said, and if they want to make the series actually good, they need to learn to listen to people's complaints. What I'm trying to say is.... thank you.

It's ironic that you say that actually HyperGumba, as Trey Parker (one of the creators and voice actors of South Park) sings the song Kirby sings in my short. It's from the movie Cannibal: The Musical.

This episode didn't do as well as some of the past ones.... but thanks to those who liked mine :).

Very good.

Liked this a lot. Had a very ROTMK feel to it (which is a good thing) but obviously using classic SMB3 sprites. Very good work.

My God... I actually liked this.

Look it wasn't all that bad really. I laughed a little when Sonic's.... chillidog landed on Knuckles. You should make it longer because I wanted to see more D:.

Gahhh...

Even if you do enjoy this kind of thing, you have to admit that it's the SAME thing over and over again and it's beyond a joke now. Every sound effect and graphic is from SMBZ.

As for the story itself..... it's almost funny how bad it is. I mean Mario breaks every bone in his body yet he's still conscious and talking. I'm pretty sure you'd be pretty dead and bleeding like hell if your bones were all busted. And yeah, the whole "Metal" antagonist idea is a dead horse that needs to be buried.

Some members may like it (which is cool, because I don't have the ultimate opinion.... or nor do THEY) but they know deep down what I'm saying is truth. Do something more original and WAY less corny with your movie.

Lame...

I haven't watched any of the other episodes yet so I'm not sure if this is just a dud amongst the others, but I seriously hope it is because none of those skits were funny. Random yelling/exploding and internet memes may for whatever reason work on 12 year olds, but it gets REALLY old really fast.

Have the spriters put a little more effort in if this is going to continue.
